The Summer Planets

The Summer Solstice has arrived. The Summer Solstice Sun is aligned with Saturn and nearly exactly opposite to the Galactic Center. The effect of the solstice-related events are already upon us and will hit a high point between June 21 to 24. This will be an unusual and important solstice--however, this is only the first of 3 very significant celestial events that will happen this summer.

First of all, the Summer Solstice Sun will closely align with Saturn. This alignment is rare because Saturn takes nearly 30 years to orbit the Sun, and it is much less frequent that the Sun, Earth, and Saturn all align with a solstice point. This event is all the more significant due to an exact alignment with Uranus on June 24th. For more details, please visit this page.

Also in August there will be a very close alignment of 6 planets with the fixed star, Regulus (also known as Cor Lionis, or the Heart of the Lion). Some have said this event marks a profound awakening for the heart of humanity. For more details, please click here.

Finally, on September 11th (2003), Saturn will align with the the asteroid, Ceres. When this alignment occurs, Saturn will be in the exact position where Jupiter stood on the morning of 9/11/2001. For more details, please see this page.
