The Eagle and the Condor
Woableza, spiritual elder of the Lakota nation, will be visiting the Santa Cruz and San Francisco Bay areas during late August into early September. Check here for updates about additional events.
Woableza has been invited to a great and historically important international gathering. The conference entitled “The Condor and the Eagle will Fly Together in the Center of the World” is a comprehensive four-day gathering for Elders and their supporters from all Indigenous Peoples of the Americas. There are several themes woven throughout the activities and workshops planned. Gathering, preserving and disseminating the last 1,000 years of wisdom for our children and future generations is key.
This includes the sharing of indigenous arts, sciences and technologies for sustainability. Another key theme is the honoring and development of the Female energies. The role of Woman as mother, daughter, cultural teacher and creator, as well as healer and prophetess will be discussed. Prayerful ceremonies and journeys to sacred sites will be combined with the honoring, each day, of different elements and the histories, prophecies and myths of many peoples. This is an epoch event, and is planned at this time and place so that the energy vortexes of the Equator, combined with the balance of the Equinox, can facilitate the ceremonies of opening the door to the New Feminine Era, or The Time of Life Renewal. The work done at this time will affect all of us!Please consider contributing toward the expenses of Woableza’s journey to this event. If you are fluent in Spanish, and might accompany him, he would enjoy the help of a translator. For more information or to make a contribution, please contact Rowan at 510-396-6495.

"I will be talking about my recent meeting with Leon Secataro (Head man and Spiritual Elder of the Canoncito Band of Navajo Indians) regarding the word prophecy." Don Alejandro has a message to the world about the year 2012, the ending of the Mayan calendar and a new phase of life on Mother Earth! He also has a new upcoming film, The Shift of The Ages. Woableza also recently met with Hopi Elders and Youth regarding the indigenous perspective on access to water rights worldwide, he may also speak briefly on this subject.

WITH GRAND CHIEF WOABLEZA, NATIVE ELDER, STORY TELLER,
MEMBER OF THE COUNCIL OF INDIGENOUS ELDERS OF MOTHER EARTHChief Woableza will discuss his meetings with Navajo spiritual leader Leon Secatero regarding ancient Navajo prophesies and his work with 13th generation Mayan Priest Don Alejandro Perez Oxlaj regarding the year 2012, the ending of the Mayan calendar, and a new phase of life on Mother Earth!
Learn about how we can prepare for the coming changes to the earth and the sacred way of planting seeds. There will be drumming, prayers and prophesy in a beautiful garden space.
Afterwards in the sanctuary chapel the documentary film, The White Road, will be shown. It is a very powerful film about a sacred gathering of indigenous leaders from North, South, and Central America. The film documents their ceremonies to heal the earth at sacred Mayan sites in the Yucatan peninsula.
